The real winners, imo, are those who give and find limitless love.

I am going through a real transformation after my last relationship. I have realised I don't have to exclude myself from my own love when I love someone else completely. I can still love and care for myself. There is infinite love in me for that. In the same way I don't love one of my pets more than the other, and I'd hope the same way parents don't love one of their childen more than another.

I am writing about my experience of change and trauma (and love to some extent) on my substack

I’m really learning to exist with this perspective too. Theres such beauty and freedom that comes with accepting love and loss as something that’s just part of the human experience.

The idea of loving less as a way of staying safe stayed with me.

I think many of us learn to measure love by how little we reveal, as if needing someone means we have already lost something.

There is something quietly powerful about still choosing sincerity in a world that often teaches us to protect ourselves first.

Oh my god this so so so touched my heart in very vulnerable spots 🥹🥺❤️‍🩹 thank you for this. I loved so many bits, as you can see from all of my restacking. I needed to read this and I’m sure others will feel the same way!
